A: They're a combination of trainer and coordinator. They battle their Pokemon to bring out top strength and they also show off their skills to bring out top flair. They also more frequently breed their teams together at the Daycare to produce eggs with top move sets and potential. It is not uncommon to see a breeder with more than one of the same kind of Pokemon in their team. Q: When doing moves for my Pokemon, what generation Moveset do I use? A: As we go up to Generation 3, Please use that moveset. If a Pokemon does not have a Gen 3 set please use whichever set is closest and note it. Q: What does a Farmer do? A: Farmers mostly live on ranches though some travel the world catching wild Pokemon to send back to the farm. They tend t be close friends with breeders, and along with them, provide most of the Pokemon provided to young people as their Starter Pokemon. Q: I have a dream team that I want to bring. What do I do? A: You can do this one of two ways. While you can't start out with your dream team, you can go out and catch Pokemon in the wild and raise them. You could also buy a bunch of Custom Pokemon from the Pokemart. Q: Are shiny Pokemon allowed? A: We do not allow you to create shiny Pokemon right of the bat. If you buy a Custom Pokemon from the Pokemart, you can go ahead and make one. The only other way to get them is to run across them in a wild encounter or by chance, happen to breed one, though this is pretty rare. Q: I've been gone for a while and my account is gone. What happened? A: If you missed an activity check without an away notice, your account was deleted and your Pokemon were auctioned off/adopted out. While you are free to come back, the only way to get your old Pokemon back is to see if anyone will give them back to you. You will likely have to start your journey all over again. Q: Can my character Come from other regions? A: Yes, but only Kanto, Johto and Hoenn. We do not support Fantasy or later generation reasons. Sorry guys. Q: What generations of Pokemon are available? A: Currently, only Generations 1, 2 and 3 are available. It is possible that at a future date we will incorporate 4 and 5 though there are no plans for this at the time. Q: Can I play a Pokemon? A: Sure can, though be aware we do not allow Pokemorphs. You can be any species of Pokemon (not legendary OR shiny) as long as it is not on ban. We can not allow you to be owned by a trainer as if one of you leaves, it will cause serious problem IC-wise. You can however, be previously owned/abandoned/released, etc though we would prefer it if you were wild. You can go ahead and battle trainers though, just so you know. Q: So I just started out...Do I have to report anywhere specific? A: Nope! You're free to go! Just keep in mind that the higher you go up in route number, the levels of Pokemon start to go up. This isn't a steadfast rule and we will tailor encounters to your level so you don't get slaughtered. Q: On the map I see that there are some routes that go over water. Are these all water routes? A: If a waterway is crossed by a brown route, there is a bridge there. You do have the option to surf/swim across them still. If the route is dark blue, the route is a swim/surf route only. Q: Can my character understand Pokemon and can they understand me? A: While you can't "speak" a Pokemon language and Pokemon can't speak in the common tongue, there can be degrees of understanding. A lot can be told by tone of voice, body language and facial expression. Even our great and glorious God, Ash's Pickahu has been known to play charades. A Pokemon and Trainer that have been together for a long time are more likely to understand each other than a wild Pokemon and a human. Q: Can I have a Cannon Character? A: There are no such things on this site. All characters are original. While you can go head and use face claims from other anime (main characters from the Pokemon Anime are not allowed), please keep your character original. If you don't want to use a face claim, why not go ahead and check out the Trainer Maker? Q: What are shards? A: Shards are the site currency. They are earned by posting, and we award 10 shards for each post you make. These shards can be used to buy all sorts of things from the Pokemart. Q: How do I get Pokeballs? A: When you start a new character, you are granted 5 regular Pokeballs. When you run out, or just feel like it, you can buy more at the shop using the shards you earned from posting. [/style] |
